2008 Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Season Swim Passes Available Starting May 1

WANT TO AVOID STANDING IN LINE?

Plan to purchase your season swim passes at Kenny Anderson, Kuehn, MariCar, Morningside, or Oyate Community Centers.

Community Center Pass Hours

  • May 1 through May 23 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • May 27 through July 25 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday

Swimming Pool/Aquatic Center Pass Hours

Starting May 23, passes are available during regular pool hours.

Passes are NOT available at McKennan Wading Pool or Pioneer Spray Park.

Regular Prices

  • Family: $50 (applies to immediate family members living in the same household, including youth under the age of 19 and step or foster children)
  • Adult: $30 (16-54)
  • Senior: $20 (55 and older)
  • Child: $10 (2-15)

Reduced-Income Passes

Purchaser will receive a 50% discount off adult/family price passes

  • Family: $25 (applies to immediate family members living in the same household, including youth under the age of 19 and step or foster children)
  • Adult: $15 (16 and older)
  • To qualify for a reduced-income swim pass, applicants must provide:
    • Photo ID, PLUS one of the following:
    • South Dakota Medicaid Card
    • School District Notification Letter of Approval for free or reduced-price meals

Free Passes

Season passes are provided at no cost for families (applies to immediate family members living in the same household, including youth under the age of 19 and step or foster children) who are residents of Sioux Falls and have a Dakota EBT Card (Food Stamp Card):

  • To qualify for a free swim pass, applicants must provide:
    • Photo ID
    • Dakota EBT Card (Food Stamp Card)

Swimming Lessons

Registration

To register for swimming lessons, please report to the pool where lessons will be taken.

Registration dates for Session 1 Lessons will be at pools on:

  • Monday, June 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 3, from 9 to 11 a.m.

Registration dates for Session 2 Lessons will be at pools on:

  • Monday, July 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 8, from 9 to 11 a.m.
