Nelson Park Master Plan

 

The Nelson Park Master Plan was developed during the three-day design workshop held in October 2007 with input from city staff, user groups, and the general public. This plan will help guide the redevelopment of the park in future years as funding is available through the City of Sioux Falls Capital Improvement Program.

 

The first phase of the master plan is the replacement of the pool with the new Drake Springs Aquatic Center. The aquatic center is currently under construction and is scheduled to be open in May/June 2009.
