Title: Bare Bodkins Theatre Company - Much Ado About Nothing

Bare Bodkins presents "Much Ado About Nothing" starting tonight!

The Bare Bodkins Theatre Company announces this year’s summer Shakespeare production, the popular comedy “Much Ado About Nothing.”

The show is part of the Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation Department’s summer theatre programming and is Free for everyone. Performances take place in the ruins of the Queen Bee Mill at Falls Park, July 28 - August 1 at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s production marks the 13th year of producing free Shakespeare at Falls Park. “Much Ado About Nothing” is one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, featuring one of the greatest battle of the sexes ever written. Benedick is a confirmed bachelor, secretly in love with Beatrice. Beatrice has sworn off men, but secretly longs for Benedick. When these two learn of their mutual love, hilarity soon follows.

The production is directed by Bare Bodkins veteran, Vickie Fuller. The cast includes: Kelsey Acers, Amanda Berg, Matt Cook, Jayna Fitzsimmons, Daniel Hodges, Grant Hooyer, Nathan Hults, Nicholas McInerney, Paavo Rasmussen, Melissa Sutton and Grant Wentzel.

No reservations will be taken for this show. Seating is on metal bleachers with very limited room for lawn chairs. Lawn chair locations are reserved for the elderly and those with back conditions. Tickets will be given out starting at 6:00. The gate to the Queen Bee Mill opens at 6:30. In the event of inclement weather, the evening’s production will be cancelled. If a performance is cancelled, there will be one rain-date performance on Monday, August 2. For more information go to www.barebodkins.com
