Trail will be closed in this area for US Army Corps of Engineers Flood Control Project. The trail will be closed from 41st Street to the Zoo. Alternative on-street bike routes and pedestrian routes will be made available. However, these routes will not be trail routes, but sidewalk and on-street routes only. The project is scheduled to begin October of 2009 and projected to be completed within 18 months.
